Stargazing

In Ladakh, the sky is so clear that the milky way is visible with the naked eye. Luna Ladakh has a property, away from the city and its lights, which is the ideal place to watch for shooting stars, space stations and the planets, as well as spending the day in luxury cottages by the river.  

We can also arrange camping under the stars. 

Artisan Tours

Visit the local potter or the coppersmiths of Chilling to learn about their centuries-old practices. Alternatively, visit the companies that spin and process the pashmina yarn from the goats that are shepherded along the Changtang region.

Culture Tours

Within Ladakh, there are many ancient monasteries and palaces to explore, with exquisite murals and artwork, as well as museums that explore Ladakh's culture and position in the Silk Road

Rafting

The Zanskar river carves through its valley of steep multicolour flagstone rock. In a raft, you take in the staggering scenery in the middle.

There are three options of rafting - a 45 minute,  gentle boat ride, a 2-hour mixed difficulty grade 2+ and a 3 hour trip for the most adventurous.

Rafting - 1,000 to 3,000 per person, depending on the duration

Hikes

Close to Leh, there are 1-day treks that can be completed with or without a guide. We take into account how well you are acclimatising and your preference of difficulty.

Cycling

Drive up to the world's highest roads and cycle back down to Leh. Or take a guided trip through the Indus Valley, along the river and past the ancient monasteries and palaces. 

Or, just rent cycles for the day to freely explore the surroundings

Cycle Rental - 700 per cycle

Motorbike Rental

Ladakh, with its sweeping vistas and high altitude roads, has become a home for the Royal Enfield. The bike offers the best and most liberating means of navigating Ladakh's peaks, valleys and culture. 

Cost - 1,400 to 2,500 rupees daily, depending on the type of bike.

Picnics Along The Indus

Enjoy a picnic spread to the sound of the river. We arrange for a picnic lunch, a taxi and blankets to take you to a secret spot by the flowing water.  
 

Cost - 1,500 per person (min 4 pax)
